Set mes en vork, met houten bewerkte heften

German or Dutch, handles dated 1607. Round wooden handle with decorative relief carving, the upper part of the handle hollowed, the handle casing carved with columns. Three small, freely movable wooden balls inside. The handle ends carved with crowned queen's busts. Silver handle collars (different). Blade with tip on the cutting edge, smith's mark and indistinctly inscribed PDMAU. Fork tip with three tines, baluster-shaped fork neck.
